Curriculum Night
This weekend should be fun. Lisa, my sister-in-law is having a birthday on Thursday! Happy Birthday sis-in-law! We are going to Helen on Saturday to go tubing! I have never been tubing before, so I'm really looking forward to it!
Lord willing, tomorrow is another day...I am thankful!

Busy Body
We just started school and I already need a break. I am sooo busy! My feet hurt everyday when I come home from school and cross country practice. I'm ready to go straight to bed...that's sad. I feel like I need a vacation!
School is still going well, with just a few minor problems. My 7th graders are playing Ultimate Frisbee right now and my 6th graders have been playing cooperative games and are now creating their own games! It is a lot of fun to see them be so creative and work together to accomplish a task! Our cross country team is doing well. They are all working very hard and getting better everyday!
In other news, Jason is getting ready to leave for a long trip to Yosemite. I think he's excited about it and I hope he has a lot of fun. I will be rather anxious about it because I won't have any contact with him due to the fact that they will be in the woods with no cell phone coverage. Hannah, Brien and I will be going to Chicago to visit Ruthie over the Labor Day weekend. I am looking forward to it! We are going to see the White Sox play!!

Exhausted
Well, it's the end of the first week of school and cross country practice and I am exhausted!! I literally fell asleep at 5:00 pm on Wednesday and slept for three hours before going to bed. It is going to take me awhile to adjust to being soo busy and physically active pretty much all day. I love what I do, but it's very draining physically.
School went well this week, except for a few minor behavior problems presented in one of my 6th grade classes. I didn't expect it to come from them! Right now we are doing Cooperative Games in 6th grade and Ultimate Frisbee in 7th grade. I was reminded of Noah today. One of the lower school student's is named Noah. Their teacher called his name and it made me sad and my heart sank, because David and Lisa and all of us can't hold him and see him. :-( I had a dream the other day of Jesus holding him and rocking him and I could see his face and his eyes open wide looking into the face of Jesus. It seemed so real, I wonder if that is what is happening.
Cross country practice is going well so far, despite the fact that I only have 8 runners. They all seem to be very dedicated and I am looking forward to a very good season.
Jason and I are going on a date tonight!! We are going to see "The Time Traveler's Wife." It looks like it will be a pretty good movie! I can't wait.
